Breaking: Leaked Intel Exposes APC plot to disrupt Guber Tribunal

A plot by the All Progressives Congress, APC to disrupt proceedings of the Governorship Tribunal has been leaked.

According to the leaked information, certain chieftains of the All Progressives Congress, APC, have concluded arrangement with thugs to orchestrate a violent scenario and disrupt proceedings of Akwa Ibom Governorship Tribunal when it resumes tomorrow, Thursday July 4th, 2019.

This is to create an unsafe and an insecure environment, hoping to force the Tribunal to be relocated to Abuja.

It was gathered  that once the case is transferred to Abuja, it could easily be influenced to favour the first petitioner, Nsima Ekere.

In a similar development , since respondents began calling their witnesses - in the case of Godswill Akpabio versus Christopher Ekpenying, PDP, INEC- there has been beef up of security within and around the ongoing National Assembly Election Tribunal at Metro Road, Uyo. Findings show that the number security officers were doubled, there was restriction of vehicular movement into the court premise (as only cars belonging to the judges, petitioner and respondents were allowed to drive into the premises).

Also, security personnel sealed off access to windows and  barricaded the entrance into the court and screened members of the audience before being allowed in.
Throwing more light on the heightened security,  a policeman explained that there was a security report, alleging a plot to assault witnesses.
